The Baltic HMS 002 Black is a study in balance, proportion, and mechanical purity. Designed as a modern interpretation of classic field and dress watches, it strips watchmaking back to its essentials hours, minutes, and seconds expressed through a clean, highly legible black dial. Housed in a compact stainless steel case, the HMS 002 maintains elegant proportions that sit naturally on the wrist. The domed sapphire crystal adds a subtle vintage character, while applied markers and finely shaped hands ensure clarity without distraction. Every detail is deliberate, from the restrained typography to the softly contoured case profile.

A dial with an "art-deco" spirit

The dial of the HMS 002 reveals a harmonious blend of 1940s vintage style and art-deco influences, offering a different aesthetic to its predecessor, the HMS 001. Sober and uncluttered, it features a brushed sector on which the hour-markers are positioned. The rest of the dial has a matte sandblasted finish, adding a subtle contrast to the overall effect. The leaf-shaped hour and minute hands have an elegant, tapering silhouette that completes the watch's dressy character.

An automatic movement offering 60h of power reserve

All the models in our HMS collection are equipped with the 8315 automatic movement, designed in Japan by the Miyota manufacture. Offering 60 hours of power reserve, it is renowned for its resistance, robustness and reliability. The HMS is available with a closed caseback, or with an optional open caseback offering an unobstructed view of the calibre.
