Meet The Founder
As the founder, I am proud to offer you a curated selection of interesting independent brands from all over the world. My journey in the watch industry began in the early 90’s thanks to my dad who was a watch collector. My first watch purchase with my own funds was in 2010 and it’s a Citizen Eco-Drive that I still own and wear.
I truly feel that mechanical watches are objects that transcend time. More than the watches I bought, the watches my dad gave me still hold the most amount of value for me and I feel this sentiment is what sets watches apart and why collecting watches is such a joyful hobby.
I founded NoHype Horology out of a need. I wanted to offer collectors that are beginning their journey in watches something interesting and independent to add to their collection. All the brands I am listing on my websites are brands that I believe in and are watches that I would personally own and wear.

Our philosophy is simple: celebrate the watches that deserve attention, not those that demand it. No Hype Horology brings together pieces that embody mastery, minimalism, and mechanical poetry.
How I chose the brands:
I am starting this website with the brands that I personally wanted to buy and have bought over the last few years. And watches that I recommended to my family and friends as well. I also wanted to keep the price point below a certain number I had in mind.
To give you all more context, Last year I got hooked on this Danish brand called Arcanaut. I have been wanting to buy one for over a year now but living in India, buying this is impossible and a logistical nightmare. Same goes for Baltic; I’ve carried many a Baltic for my friends over the years and I wanted to provide a space where someone in India can click and buy.
Then there is a new brand I discovered just a couple of weeks ago called Earthen & Co. I met Jonathan at a recent trip to Dubai watch week, and the watch feels at least 5x its price point.
These are brands young Indian collectors need to be aware of and every brand that I feature on NoHype Horology will be a brand with a story and a brand I will personally stand behind.
Frequently Asked Questions
Currently, we have partnered with 8 brands with a few more in the works. Within the brands we carry as well, the selection of watches remains curated. However, among the 8 brands (Baltic, Arcanaut, Farer, Earthen & Co, Echo/Neutra, Nivada, Tourby and Anoma) if needed, any model can be ordered.
The website is for Indian collectors only and there is no international shipping available.
If there is a defect in the watch, post purchase, returns are accepted. However if there are no defects, the sale is considered as final.
Exchanges are accepted within a week of purchase for any watch of similar or higher value.
All watches in stock will be shipped via Delhivery with insurance and tracking. As soon as the purchase is completed, we will send out a tracking number.
For watches that are listed as pre-order, we have to procure them for the brand and delivery timelines are 3-4 weeks depending on the brand.
Absolutely. As per the individual brand, the watch bought will have the warranty coverage and NHH will handle all warranty related claims and problems.
