What is the coffee dial made from?
Our proprietary coffee composite is made in the same way as the composites seen in the D’Arc Matter collection, and on the Havender, Klint, and Liberty Green models.
This time, freshly ground coffee is mixed with an super tough, UV-resistant binding agent to create a millable plate of material that we then CNC into shape.
Solid Lumicast indexes are then applied to the milled recesses around the edge of the dial in a fetching shade of old radium (or "café creme, if you prefer — we do). We tip the laser-cut steel, heat-bronzed hands with the same luminescent materail for a blazing green nighttime glow.
Case
316L stainless steel case, CNC milled north of Copenhagen with tolerances down to a micron. The case has a matte micro bead blasted finish, with hand-polished highlights applied by our Danish watchmakers. As with all our watches, the case features our signature "Pentablock" crown, which is shaped to follow the form of the case perfectly.
Hands
Our laser-cut micro-welded steel hands are made and hand-finished in Denmark and topped with solid Lumicast tips that glow green as do the hour markers. Additionally, this handset has been heat bronzed, which means they have been heated to roughly 250 degrees centigrade so the steel oxides and turns a warm, inviting brown shade, which complements the dial perfectly.
Straps
As standard, the D'Arc Roast will be delivered on a Rex Brown strap, but you're welcome to have the watch head mounted on any of the other colours if you prefer.
Our strap colours are Axe Red, Void Blue, Fett Green, Rex Brown, Kakarot Orange, Bondi Blue, Replicant White, Mellow Yellow, and Black (just black).
If there is a defect in the watch, post purchase, returns are accepted. However if there are no defects, the sale is considered as final.
